Over the past year, I've tried out a variety of Amazfit watches, including the very cute GTS 2. Now the next step is the GTS 2 mini: they are slightly simpler, but at the same time cheaper. The main thing is that the cute design has remained the same, only the watch has decreased in size. Let's not delay and move on to the narrative.

Nice appearance
Of course, smart watches are famous for their useful features, but I want to start with the design. After all, a watch is a very personal accessory, and everyone's tastes are different in this regard. I think that the Amazfit GTS 2 mini will appeal to many: they look beautiful, neat, while the watch is very light and compact, they can safely be called weightless.
In its appearance, the smart watch is very similar to the Apple Watch, although there is no question of a complete copy of the design, but it is not difficult to guess from whom the reference design was copied in Amazfit.
As for the assembly and materials, everything is fine here. The screen is covered with glass with curved edges, an aluminum frame runs along the sides, and the inner part is made of black glossy plastic. As in the older model, the GTS 2 mini has dust and moisture protection, they can withstand a pressure of 5 ATM.
There are three colors to choose from: pastel shades of green and pink will appeal to girls, and the basic black version can be called a universal solution for both female and male audiences. For an adult uncle, they will be too small, but for a teenager or a woman, they are just right.
It remains only to add that it will be easy to find a replacement for the complete silicone strap, if you want a variety. The mount is standard for 20 mm, you can pick up something new and original to match the clothes or image without much effort. The base strap is comfortable: elastic, soft, pleasant, comfortable with it.
High-quality screen
The display is of excellent quality, there is no other way to say it. It is bright, juicy, the picture is colorful, and the fonts are clear, you can not find fault. On the AMOLED screen, the dials with an abundance of black look great, everything is as it should be. The characteristics of the screen are as follows: diagonal 1.55 inches, resolution 354 × 306 pixels. My fingers are not very large, it is convenient to manage the interface, there were no errors.
The brightness margin is good, everything is visible on the street under the bright March sun. I think that on a fine summer day, the numbers on the screen will look great. The brightness control works automatically, if you want to save energy and increase the operating time, you can switch to manual control of the backlight.
To customize the watch, you can choose from more than sixty dials for different tastes. Minimalistic, rich in data, simple and complex — all as you want, and additional widgets on the screen can be customized for yourself.
The Always On mode in the watch is saved, the time on the screen and the steps taken will be visible constantly. But I note that this mode does not work for all types of dials, but only for two.
Intuitive interface
With the control of the touch clock, you can quickly figure out, no tricks. You can use right-left gestures to switch widgets on the home screen, and you can decide which apps will be at hand.
Swipe up to open the notification menu, and swipe down to open the Quick access menu. There you turn on the silent mode, alarm clock, you can change the screen brightness or go to settings.
You need to scroll through the lists with your finger — the side wheel does not have a scrolling function. You can assign an application launch to it, and by clicking on it, you can exit the application or, conversely, launch the program.
The speed of the watch is average, they are not very fast, but it is not the flagship of the model range.
Features for all occasions
Using the Biotracker optical heart rate monitor, the watch detects the level of oxygen in the blood, monitors stress, monitors sleep, distinguishes between deep and light sleep, counts the pulse and determines the PAI index. Girls in Amazfit GTS 2 mini will benefit from the features associated with cycle tracking — you need to monitor your health.
Since the watch runs on its own platform, there are no separate applications for the Amazfit GTS 2. However, there are enough pre-installed apps for a comfortable life: there is a timer, stopwatch, alarm clock, world clock, weather, compass, phone search function, and even a Pomodoro tracker for productive work.
The battery will last a long time
The operating time of the watch is highly dependent on the load. On a single charge, they can last up to three weeks, but this is a scenario with minimal use of smart features. Still, you want to use all this wealth, and then you get about five to seven days with a high load and up to two weeks with an average load.
Magnetic charging is included, there is no power supply, as usual, but it will not be difficult to find an adapter with USB-A. A full charge of the watch lasts about an hour and a half.
Conclusion
A small smart watch turned out well. The Amazfit GTS 2 mini has everything that is useful every day, you will not have to pay for extra features. At the same time, they look good, light and small, with an excellent bright screen, and still work for a long time. When the budget is limited, you can close your eyes to not the fastest interface, but instead get a beautiful and useful device that still works for a long time.
